Purpose:

Toronto Travel Massive was proud to partner with Visit Britain for their #LoveGreatBritain and Countryside campaign. The aim of the event was also:

  • To help position Great Britain as a destination for Culinary, Adventure, Countryside travel as well as new experiences beyond London.
  • To help Visit Britain connect and build relationships with Canadian influencers in the travel industry including travel bloggers for their latest campaign.

How:

About 740,000 Canadians travel to Britain each year so it was only fitting that Toronto Travel Massive and Visit Britain collaborate with a socially engaged industry event. English-inspired appetizers plus tips and ideas about what to do and see in Britain created buzz from influencers both online and offline.

Social Reach / Outcome:

In addition to generating social chatter during the event, Travel Massive also helped generate engagement about Visit Britain pre-event via a Tweet-to-Win contest. The contest opened 3 weeks prior to the event and helped drive more than 488K+ impressions to over 413K+ accounts on Twitter alone before the hosted event. One lucky winner won an all-expense-paid one-week trip to explore Great Britain.
